Mid Cap Rotterdam is looking for a highly ambitious sales oriented team player who can initiate new client acquisition within the greater Rotterdam area.


THE POSITION OF RELATIONSHIP MANAGER MIDCAP AGRICULTURAL

Objective of the position
The Relationship Manager is the strategic and financial advisor for the client on the CEO/CFO level, opening the door for all company products and solutions with the aim to increase both short and long -term profitability.

Responsibilities
The Relationship Manager is responsible for sales and solutions with regard to lending, CMC and trade products, liaising with product specialists for complex products and coordination of the Client Sales Team’s sales approach for all products. Based on thorough client analysis he/she sells a client what he needs rather than what he wants and will primarily be focusing on the larger, internationally active MCU Clients (€ 250m and up).

The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the appropriate level of knowledge of company products and the industries in which his/her clients are active. Gathering information on the products, following product trainings to reach the appropriate level of relevant knowledge. Knowledge to be able to advise clients at CEO/CFO level.


THE CANDIDATE

Your Profile and background
The ideal candidate has in dept knowledge of commercial banking products, being able to autonomously sell solutions with regard to Lending, CMC, Trade and generating insurance, CTS, Lease and IFN leads. Also he/she has in dept credit knowledge in a commercial banking environment, Business economical fiscal and legal knowledge. Knowledge of Compliance, duty of care and know your client.

The ideal candidate can effectively develop and maintain client networks, based on the understanding of another's perspective and  interests (both within and outside the organization). Obviously he/she can make adequate use of (in)formal networks to get things done.
